THE
STRATEGY OF JESUS
Archaeology
is the science of investigation that reveals how ancient
civilizations lived. In the 90s, a deep tunnel was discovered
in Jerusalem that ran along the western wall (Wailing Wall).
This wall is the only thing left standing from Herod’s
temple, of which our Lord Jesus spoke. |

Some
of us have had the unforgettable experience of walking through
this tunnel. The floor dates back to the time of Herod’s
temple. Prophets, kings, generals, armies, leaders, apostles
and probably the Lord Jesus Himself walked through it. There
are no words to express the experience of walking on this marble
floor, with more than 20 centuries of antiquity. However, there
is an even more profound discovery. As the tunnel always existed
under the rubble of Jerusalem until its discovery, we also
have the Strategy of Jesus. It has existed from the beginning,
under the many plans and agendas of work.
The
Apostolic Assembly has discovered something much more valuable
than a tunnel, it has rediscovered the model whereby Jesus,
the apostles and our pioneers walked, the Strategy of Jesus.
Before ascending, the Lord said that He would edify his church
upon the rock. Which rock? The rock of the revelation that
He was Christ, the Son of the living God. (Matthew 16:16-18)
The
rock is Jesus. He is our foundation and thereby, our strategy.
The plan, the method and the strategy of Jesus. Saint Paul
makes it crystal clear when he declares in his 20/20 vision: “How
I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to
you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.” (Acts
20:20) The Strategy of Jesus is to take our declaration of
vision publicly and from house to house:
